VISION
The Teen I.D.O.L. Leadership Training Program will teach adolescents how to create and maintain healthy lifestyles which generate a sense of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being as our youth transition into adulthood.
MISSION STATEMENT
The participants and graduates of the Teen I.D.O.L. Teen Leadership Program are Dynamic, Independent, Outstanding Leaders who use their skills, wisdom, and talents to empower and enrich themselves and their community.
OUR PHILOSOPHY

“We believe the children are the future.
Teach them well and let them lead the way.”
Therefore, there is a significant emphasis on self responsibility for personal health, and die-ease prevention. We strive to look at the glass as being half full, rather than half empty. Subsequently, unlike many other teen programs, this program stress being “proactive” will not limit the student’s focus to merely reacting to societal problems.
PROGRAM FORMAT
Recognizing that “it takes a village to raise a child” and in an effort to promote an atmosphere of “each one, teach one”, In designing this course, we were concerned that unlike many other teen projects, this program would not limit the student’s focus to dealing with the societal problems such as drug abuse, bullying, teen pregnancy and the possibility of contracting sexually transmitted diseases.
Therefore, this program is comprised of five major components: a one week intensive summer training camp, community service and life skills projects, a mentorship alliance, and one year of monthly life skills workshops and wellness courses which will integrate various aspects of holistic wellness such as exercise, nutrition, HeartMath Test Prep techniques and technologies, and meditations on various aspects of renewing emotions – also known as the “Fruit of the Spirit”.
BECOME a PART of the
VILLAGE!
